As a Church, we have a
Aim
and a Purpose.
AIM
The goal of Elyon Family Church is to Conquer Harrisonburg for Christ by proclaiming the Gospel of the “Good News” to all throughout the world.
Likewise, showing the compassion of Jesus in a practical way, teaching them to live a victorious life and reflect the character of our Master.
PURPOSE
Helping people find their way back to God by showing them The Great Commandment and The Great Commission
The Great Commandment is found in (Matthew 22:37-40)
The Great Commission is found in (Matthew 28:19-20)
In order for the vision of the Church to be realized, we must take into account Christ's purpose in establishing it. One of Christ's desires and commands before leaving the earth was to go and make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19-20).
